Убийство в нашем доме

360 Ridelle Ave Toronto lobby

“Police are investigating an altercation in a North York apartment building after a woman was found with serious injuries.

A resident of the building confirmed that the victim, 62, was taken from her second floor apartment Thursday morning. Police are saying she suffered serious injuries stemming from trauma to the body. The woman was initially found with no vital signs, but police have confirmed she has been revived.

“She is still alive. She is in life threatening condition,” said Toronto police Const. Tony Vella Thursday afternoon.

The woman’s 40-year-old son was arrested on scene in connection to the incident.

Ron Durocher (I know this guy well) has been working as a cleaner in the building for 28 years. He said the woman lived by herself on the second floor of the building, 360 Ridelle Ave.

‘I didn’t know her personally, but I knew the family,’ Durocher said. ‘They are from Bulgaria.’

He also added that the victim used to live with relatives – a woman, man and a child – but they recently moved into a bigger apartment on the 15th floor.

‘I’ve been here 28 years, and I’ve never seen anything like this,’ said Durocher. ‘I saw her taken away — I didn’t know if she was dead.’

Over two hours after police received the call, seven cruisers and one ambulance still remained on scene.

A man in his 40s, believed to be related to the victim has been taken into custody but no charges have been laid.”

Вот и такое тоже бывает — прямо в нашем доме. Вика мне периодически отзванивается и пересчитывает полицейские машины.
